Erràtik
Erràtik is the festival that changes neighbourhood every year. The name fits perfectly: erratic by principle, itinerant by philosophy. Vallbona, Canyelles, Trinitat Nova, Verdum, Roquetes — each edition brings the artistic expressions of local young people to where they actually live, not somewhere they’re expected to go to see culture.
It grew out of the Social Circus Festival, expanding the scope to include urban dance, theatre, percussion, music, freestyle, robotics and street arts. Everything made with and by the neighbourhood’s young people, not for them.
Organised by Art District and the Kasals de Joves de Nou Barris, with the Ateneu Popular 9 Barris as backbone. The result is a festival with the energy of a transformed public space: temporary, alive and full of the unexpected.
The 2022 edition was held at the Amfiteatre de Roquetes. Rain or not, the young people were there.
